All our bedrooms are en-suite and offer stylish accommodation with original Victorian features, such as fireplaces, cornices and sash windows. All rooms have a TV, hairdryer, hospitality tray, radio/alarm clock, Wi-Fi access and a comprehensive guest information folder to help you make the most of your stay in York.

Bay Tree Guest House is non-smoking throughout for your comfort.

KING DOUBLE
Situated on the first floor facing the front of the house, our king double room has a lovely view of Southlands Church opposite with its stained glass windows and spires. It has an original Victorian marble fireplace and large sash windows which makes it a great spot to spend time relaxing and watching the world go by.

The room has an en-suite shower, toilet and basin with glass bricks to the en-suite to get some natural light. A lovely, well-decorated room with kingsize double bed, iPod docking station/alarm clock, colour television with Freeview, wireless internet access, hair-dryer, tea & coffee making facilities and fresh towels.

DOUBLE double
Situated on the second floor, the double en-suite room faces the rear of the house so is our quietest room with a view over the rooftops to Rowntree’s Park.

Recently redecorated, the room has an stylish en-suite shower, toilet and basin accessed through a sliding glass door and a small feature Victorian fireplace. A delightfully cosy room with iron double bed, iPod docking station and alarm clock, colour television with Freeview, wireless internet access, hair-dryer, tea & coffee making facilities and fresh towels.

We can also offer this room for single occupancy at a reduced rate.

large twin double family

LARGE DOUBLE/TWIN/FAMILY
The large double/twin/family en-suite room is situated on the second floor of the house and is light and spacious. It has a solid brass bedstead, cream wood furniture and plenty of storage space for a longer stay.

The en-suite shower room has a feature exposed brick wall that adds character to the room. A stylish, modern room with both a double and single bed, alarm clock/radio, colour television with Freeview, wireless internet access, hair-dryer, tea & coffee making facilities and fresh towels.

A travel cot and high chair are always available in the guest house and we don’t charge anything for babies using a travel cots.

TREAT YOURSELF:
To make your stay an extra special occasion, we can easily arrange for a bouquet of flowers, wine, champagne or chocolates to be ready for your arrival.

Just let us know what you would like when you are booking and we will work to your budget and add it to your bill on departure. We don’t charge for this so you only pay for what you get!
